Let me say right at the start that Google Nemesis is designed for the relative newcomer to Affiliate Marketing. The concept of Google Nemesis is to take you, step-by-step, through an essentially simple process of creating a review website.

Now don’t fret. You don’t need to know anything about HTML or domain names or uploading sites to a webhost. That’s all taken care of
by the software at Google Nemesis.

Actually the page generator is called Google Slasher, probably because it was dreamt up by an associate of Chris X before it was marketed under the DJK banner.

Here’s a quick review page I knocked up using text from my blogs. Google Nemesis will help you find products like these that will fit into any niche you want to promote (I’ve stuck with the make money niche here, but you’ll do better finding a less competitive niche) as it helps you delve into the Clickbank Marketplace direct from the review generator.

First let’s look at the blank template. There are two templates, blue for three product reviews and red for two product reviews.

Every text entry is editable on the page. You can also change the style of each text field using a WISIWYG editor panel.

That’s the domain used for all Google Nemesis review sites with the subdomain generated by the category you choose for your review page.

Once your page is live you’re then given tactics for creating an Adwords campaign that will bring traffic to the URL. Again this is a step-by-step process and I can’t give too much away here except that I can tell you it involves ’shadowing’ the keywords of existing, successful campaigns.

Then, when you start receiving traffic you can track your affiliate link hits and sales from the in-built stats collator. Of course, once you are adept at using Google Adwords, you’ll be using Google Analytics to refine your ad campaigns, but the inbuilt stats will also let you see results from all your marketing efforts including article marketing.

If you’re stuck for niche ideas or just want a quick way to get started with Adwords then, when you sign up to Google Nemesis, you’ll be given the chance to opt for the Blueprints. These delve deeper into keyword selection and analysis of results and will help you become more profitable faster.

And that’s it, in a nutshell. As I said this really is designed for the new, wannabe, affiliate marketer. If you’re aim is to build up your own sites on your own domains then you’d do better with Profit Praxis which goes a whole lot further than Nemesis.

The downside of Google Nemesis is that you don’t have control over the visual layout of your sites, nor can you (currently) add images or headers. Also you’re stuck with the ‘cbguides.com’ URL which isn’t as ideally SE friendly as it could be.

But that’s not the point of ‘Nemesis’ which is really based around generating fast profits from Google Adwords campaigns. Your monthly membership includes the review generator, the hosting, the testing and tracking plus the ongoing training if you select the Blueprints option. If that sounds attractive then you should make your monthly membership fee back in spades.

These books only hit the marketplace every now and again. Sometimes they arrive with a loud blast of publicity. Sometimes they sort of grow on the market’s consciousness. I think I’ve just found one that seems to have ’snuck under the radar’.

Step by Step

The trouble with many of these ground-breaking books is that their authors are so proud of their ‘discovery’ that they spend all the time talking about it but don’t spell out exactly how to use it!

For that reason I much prefer books which offer step-by-step instructions for implementing new marketing ideas.

Well I’ve just finished reading a new book which not only introduces a marketing tactic that, frankly, I’ve never seen used before but also teaches how to use it in a completely open and straightforward manner.

The book is called ‘The 1% MOLB Wealth Formula’ - a strange title which you’ll begin to understand when you read the sales page but which you won’t really ‘get’ until you read the book.

What I really like about this book is that everything is so clearly laid out that anyone can follow it, and the content is so well written that it engages both novices and ‘old hands’ like me!

Now I’m not going to persuade you to buy it, I just suggest you have a look at the sales page and see if it’s for you, (and don’t delay because the low, introductory, price is only until 11pm EST today). If you do buy it then I really, really recommend that you do the following…

Read through the ebook first in one sitting. It will be an eye opener I promise! Then read it again, taking notes this time. Then go and watch the eleven videos that accompany the book. Finally read the book again and map out your plan to put the tactics in the book into action. Yes, it’s that good that you won’t need any further help!

And if you do find, after all that, that you simply can’t follow these, previously unused and practically revolutionary, tactics then ask for a refund. But, somehow, I don’t think you will!

For the online marketer eBay has long been seen as the easiest way to start building an email or ezine list. The strategy that has erupted in recent years is to sell digital download items (ebooks or software programs) at exceptionally low cost in order to grab the names and emails of purchasers.

If you’ve followed my Challenge you’ll have seen that I’ve made copywriting a huge personal study over the past year or so. Now each copywriter has a ’swipe file’ - a file of best-selling emails, ads and salespages from other writers! This file is occasionally useful to dip into when looking for inspiration.

How do I make my swipe file? I keep in touch with what is happening in the marketplace, stay on other marketer’s email lists and follow links to promising looking salespages. And that’s how I found The Retired Millionaire.

Now the reason I want you to follow that link is not necessarily to buy the product (I’ll come to that later)! What I want you to do is to read the page - every single word of it. And when you’ve reached the end go back to the top and read it again. Because this is an exercise in emotional tugging the like of which you’ll rarely see.

This is a salespage which incorporates everything that we teach about successful copywriting. It virtually tugs your wallet out of your pocket. Aren’t you just itching to click on that Order Now button?

Well, please don’t. Because although this salespage was obviously written by a consumate marketer, and I take my hat off to his or her craftsmanship, the stuff that’s behind the page in no way lives up to the promise.

Now that doesn’t mean that the collection of software and manuals on the download page isn’t worth the money. It’s just that it is the same old dosh that is served up by a lot of get-rich-quick promotions. Far from being the ’secrets to the opportunity of a lifetime’ all you’ll receive, if you do click that Order button, is a bunch of products to promote and the opportunity to part with more money on buying hosting for a website to sell them from!

You’ll see this sort of technique used on a lot of get-rich-quick sites. Some offer you a website to promote the product you’ve just bought into. Some guarantee to make you wealthy by helping you become an affiliate - for their product. Let me tell you, it is ten times easier to sell your own product, or act as an affiliate in a niche which you’ve researched yourself, than it is to sell just ONE of these programs.

So when you see a page like The Retired Millionaire, do what I did. File it away for posterity in your swipe file. Use it as a prime example of how good copywriting can sell a promise. It’s just a pity there isn’t a real product behind it!

Flat on the heels of Google Assassin comes Google Payload (or was it the other way around - I wasn’t paying attention to the timing).

Occasionally when reading a book you often get the feeling of deja vu. When reading Google Payload that spooky feeling frequently arose. Now I don’t have a problem with regurgitated content. The world of Internet Marketing is not plain sailing and there’s nothing wrong with taking established ideas and putting them into a new form.

But if the sales page promises that you’ll learn ’secrets’ that ‘have never been used before’ and the product goes on to re-invent the wheel, then I do have a problem.

Put into a nutshell Google Payload shows how you can use websites to collect money off Google for displaying Adsense ads and drive visitors to your sites using PayPerClick (PPC). But the real money-spinner in the book is to use what is often called ‘Google Arbitrage’. Here you use second tier PPC ads to drive traffic to pages which display ads that have a higher PPC payout.

So far so good. If your ads cost a cent per click and the ads on your website payout a dollar per click then you may make a profit. Google Payload gives you the methods of setting this up, including how to test your web pages to maximize their monetisation.

So where are the ’secrets’ that ‘no-one is using yet’? I read this rambling book from cover to cover (BTW I didn’t buy the upsell to the videos that was a One Time Offer during the sale) but failed to find any.

If you want to read a case study of how to use the Google Arbitrage system then Google Payload is an interesting read. Don’t expect to see a step-by-step teaching process, though. You’ll have to learn from your own testing system how to become successful at PPC arbitrage and, at $77 plus $77 for the accompanying videos, it’s an expensive mistake if you get it wrong!

If you are signed up to any of the major marketer’s lists then you’ll have been besieged over the past couple of days with emails promoting Google Assassin.

With a name like that I bet many of you are wondering what it is all about? Here’s the deal…

Google Assassin is a monthly membership site which teaches you how to place Google PPC (Pay Per Click) ads and reap profits from them using affiliate links. If you don’t know about PPC then, briefly, you can bid to post an ad which shows up in the right column of Google’s Search Engine results. Every time someone clicks on your ad you pay a few cents (or dollars depending on how high your bid is) to Google. Hopefully you make enough sales from your ad hits to cover your costs and make a profit.

That makes it sound simple and, whilst in essence it is, the key to a successful PPC campaign is to make sure your ads get noticed without having to bid too high to make it unprofitable. This is where keyword research and clever ad wording comes in.

Google Assassin is from the stable of Chris X, the author of Affiliate Project X and Day Job Killer, both of which worked over the principles of successful PPC campaigns. In fact you can probably learn everything you need to know from these two books without having to sign up to Google Assassin.

But if you prefer watching videos to reading books, and if you want to be handed the steps to setting up and generating a PPC campaign rather than working out your own strategy, then Google Assassin may be for you.

Forget all the hype, though. Google Assassin does not have anything new to say about achieving successful affiliate marketing through PPC. It just presents the whole caboodle in a different, and for some people more approachable, format.

Personally I got everything I needed to know from reading Day Job Killer from cover to cover several times and working out my own PPC strategy. If that doesn’t swing your boat, and you need a set of tools to walk you through the whole process, then try Google Assassin instead.

Time, today, to look at what we have achieved so far and what it has involved. (This is a sort of out-take from the Challenge itself for your benefit!).

First of all let me tell you what it has NOT involved. To be fair to those of you who are new to Internet Marketing I have:

1. NOT called on any help from my existing contacts.

2. NOT used professional services (though the manual shows where you can get professional help for a pittance).

3. NOT used any existing affiliate or JV partner links

Just so that is clear, I have approached this Challenge studiously as though I was an Internet Marketing Virgin!

So a quick summation of what I have achieved.

a) Found a JV partner (just by asking, the way it says in the manual)

b) Found affiliates to sell my product (ditto above)

c) Researched the market and found a product to sell

d) Found bonus products to enhance the product

e) Wrote a sales page and set up payment and affiliate software

f) Test marketed the product (sales of which paid for The 2020 Challenge course AND made a profit)

g) Launched the product and will continue to collect sales over the long term.

There is a lot more that I have not listed, but I won’t bore you with it here. You can go back and read the progress for yourself.

The main thrust of this, however, is that the Challenge lives up to its word in that it will help/make you get a product onto the market and selling in 20 working days.

Will it make you $20,000 in 20 days? It could do, it all depends how fast your product sells. Mine is a long term selling product in a difficult market. Sales have not peaked yet as most of my affiliates have not racked up their campaigns. I could well make $20,000 from this product in a month, or maybe a quarter year. Whatever. All I have to do now is run through the program again with another product and the income will roll in!

Will I be claiming on Michael Green’s guarantee? Heck, no. I’ve made a substantial profit so, thankyou, Michael for The 2020 Challenge which has prompted me to take action. And for that I feel I owe you much, much more than The 2020 Challenge price!
